In 2006, the City of North Newton hired Kauffman Museum to design a city-wide wayfinding system.
Kauffman Museum designed and presented system elements to the city council.
Scale models were created to help visualize the proposed elements.
A prototype was built to test the sign's legibility and placement, and to help the council visualize the finished product.
Zerger Construction was hired for the City Hall sign fabrication.
This picture shows the completed sign in front of City Hall awaiting native prairie grass landscaping.
