Pathways of Tradition:
Native American Footwear, 1860-1930

Exhibition dates: October 3, 2008 - January 25, 2009

This special exhibition showcases American Indian footwear from private and public collections in the central Great Plains. Through everyday and ceremonial footwear we explore themes of women's work, cultural diversity and change as well as examine materials and production techniques.
